I’m Sami, she/her.
I started going to college full-time in Spring 2024 and will finish my Associate’s in Art Studies this fall, then I’ll transfer to pursue a Bachelor’s degree. I friggen love being in school.
In January of this year (2025) I walked away from a 22-year career in tattooing. Everyone wants to know why, but there isn’t one thing I can point to and say There! That’s the culprit! It was just time, and I don’t regret leaving.
During my time as a tattooer I spoke with so many people who expressed their desire to be creative but didn’t think, for whatever reason, that they could do it. They don’t know how to do this, or they weren’t any good at that, or their family/friend/partner made fun of them…honestly it breaks my heart. I’m telling you right now, you can fucking do it!
My dream for this blog, for the FAFA Project, is to show you that you can.
